The Word of God is active and alive. It accomplishes what it is sent to do. It divides the lies and deception from the truth. It stretches to the limits our ways to reveal the ways of God. It strengthens when we are weak. It heals bodies, minds, souls. It fills us with joy and everlasting hope. It works in us to will and to do the things that we are destined for. It effectively works the design of our Heavenly Father into this world. The Word of God is our life line. It sustains us with provision beyond our own understanding. It’s the heart of the Godhead for us to be transformed into the image of the Son of God Who is Jesus.
We must immerse ourselves into the Living Word. We must pursue it as in it is everything we need every day. We must read it, think on it, act on it, love it.
For decades and generations those who have gone before us have relied upon it to bring forth the glorious light into the darkness. It never fails to amaze us that there is power in the mighty Word of God.
Today I choose the Word to have its way within me. I choose to overcome by the Word of the Lord as I yield to it. I endeavor to be transformed by the renewing of my mind by the washing of the water of the Word.
